The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Tunisia hosted a grand reception at the Sheraton Hotel in Tunis to mark the 53rd anniversary of the glorious October 6th Victory. The event was held at the invitation of the Defense Attaché, Brigadier General Walid El-Awady, in the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador to Tunisia, Mr. Bassem Hassan.

His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture in Sharjah, and Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of the Cultural Affairs Department at the Department of Culture and Director of the Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial, inaugurated 15 solo and group exhibitions featuring works by more than 100 artists in Arabic calligraphy, Islamic ornamentation, contemporary art and photography. The exhibitions were held at Sharjah Art Museum and the Emirates Fine Arts Society, in the presence of Maysa Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Sharjah Museums Authority, along with a large number of artists, calligraphers and Arabic calligraphy enthusiasts.

Mr. Imed Derbali, President of the National Council of Regions and Districts; His Eminence Sheikh Hichem Ben Mahmoud, Mufti of the Republic of Tunisia; heads of diplomatic missions and international and regional organizations accredited to Tunisia; members of the diplomatic corps; senior government and parliamentary officials; prominent Tunisian figures from the business, cultural, and media communities; and members of the Egyptian community.

Actress Dorra has returned to star in the upcoming feature film "When Love Writes." She had previously postponed announcing her participation in the project before Ramadan due to her commitments to filming the series Ali Clay, followed by Qalb Shams with director Mohamed Sami.
