Oud House Riyadh celebrated the graduation of its first class of students under the supervision of renowned Iraqi oud virtuoso and founder of the Arab Oud House, Dr. Naseer Shamma, marking a significant milestone in its mission to nurture a new generation of accomplished musicians through a comprehensive academic approach that blends tradition with professional excellence.
The ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of cultural and artistic figures, led by Mr. Sultan Al-Bazie, Advisor to the Saudi Minister of Culture, the Head of Education at the Saudi Music Commission, as well as a number of prominent officials and leading figures from the cultural and music sectors.
The graduation jury included Maestro Amir Abdel Meguid, Dr. Madani Abadi, and Mr. Mohammed Betmaz, all of whom praised the graduates for their remarkable artistic level and outstanding performances during the final recital.

The celebration also coincided with Oud House Riyadh's relocation to its new headquarters at JAX Diriyah, marking the beginning of a new chapter in its development. The new campus offers an integrated educational and cultural environment designed to support the expansion of its academic programs and musical activities while strengthening its impact on Saudi Arabia's cultural landscape.
Through this achievement, Oud House Riyadh, under the supervision of Dr. Naseer Shamma, reaffirms its commitment to graduating highly qualified musicians and promoting music as a fundamental pillar of culture and creativity, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to enrich the Kingdom's cultural and artistic scene.
Oud House Riyadh also announced the upcoming launch of several new academic departments dedicated to additional musical instruments, alongside a Music Therapy Department and a Musical Instrument Making Department specializing in the craftsmanship of traditional Arab instruments, including the oud and qanun, further strengthening its position as a comprehensive center for music education, innovation, and cultural excellence in Saudi Arabia.
