"بنات الباشا" هو فيلم روائي مصري مدته 98 دقيقة، يُقدَّم باللغة العربية، ويأخذ المشاهد إلى مدينة طنطا عقب تفجير كنيسة في حادث إرهابي يهز المجتمع. داخل مركز "الباشا" للتجميل النسائي، يُكتشف جثمان نادية، إحدى العاملات، في واقعة تبدو أقرب إلى الانتحار، ليجد نور الباشا — صاحب المكان — والعاملات أنفسهم في مواجهة مأزق كبير يتعلق بالحفاظ على سمعة المركز وسط منافسة شرسة.
وبينما يسعى الباشا إلى استخراج تصريح الدفن بطرق ودية وغير قانونية، تنشغل العاملات بمحاولة تجهيز نادية للدفن سرًا، إلا أن محاولاتهن تتعثر باستمرار، ما يدفع كل واحدة منهن إلى استحضار علاقتها الراحلة، والتأمل في ذواتهن، وفي الدور القاسي والمتقلب الذي يمثله الباشا في حياتهن.
محمد العدل، مخرج مصري من مواليد 1986، تخرج من المعهد العالي للسينما عام 2008، وعمل مساعدًا لعدد من أبرز المخرجين في السينما والدراما التلفزيونية. أخرج سبعة أفلام روائية طويلة واثني عشر مسلسلاً، وحصدت أعماله العديد من الجوائز والتكريمات عربيًا ودوليًا.

Today, Tuesday, November 18, during the Gala screenings at the 46th Cairo International Film Festival, the film Pasha's Girls directed by Mohamed El Adel will have its world premiere as part of the Arab Horizons Competition. The screening is scheduled for 9:00 PM on the Grand Theatre stage at the Cairo Opera House.
Pasha's Girls is an Egyptian narrative film with a runtime of 98 minutes, presented in Arabic. The story takes viewers to the city of Tanta after an Islamist attack on a church shakes the community. Inside the "Basha" center for women's beauty, the body of Nadia, one of the staff members, is discovered in what appears to be a suicide. The owner of the center, Nour El Basha, and the staff find themselves confronted with a severe crisis involving the center’s reputation amidst fierce competition.
As Pasha attempts to secure the burial permit through unofficial means, the staff work to secretly prepare Nadia’s body for burial. Their efforts repeatedly face obstacles, prompting each of them to reflect on their relationship with the deceased, explore their inner selves, and contemplate the harsh and volatile role that Basha plays in their lives.
Mohamed El Adel, born in 1986, is an Egyptian director who graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema in 2008. He previously worked as an assistant director for some of the most prominent filmmakers in film and television drama. El Adel has directed seven feature-length films and twelve TV series, earning numerous awards and recognition both regionally and internationally.
