High-level official and diplomatic attendance underscores the depth of Egyptian-Tunisian relations
The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Tunisia hosted a reception on Monday 13 July 2026 to mark the 74th anniversary of the 23 July Revolution, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Khaled El-Nouri, Minister of Interior of Tunisia; H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Bouderbala, Speaker of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People; H.E. Mr. Imed Derbali, President of the National Council of Regions and Districts; His Eminence Sheikh Hichem Ben Mahmoud, Mufti of the Republic of Tunisia; heads of diplomatic missions and international and regional organizations accredited to Tunisia; members of the diplomatic corps; senior government and parliamentary officials; prominent Tunisian figures from the business, cultural, and media communities; and members of the Egyptian community.

Actress Dorra has returned to star in the upcoming feature film "When Love Writes." She had previously postponed announcing her participation in the project before Ramadan due to her commitments to filming the series Ali Clay, followed by Qalb Shams with director Mohamed Sami.
